Aquí en España nos gusta hacer las cosas un poco diferente y aunque ni siquiera entiendo qué sentido tiene, nosotros tenemos los finales AHORA, en lugar de tenerlos a finales de diciembre como la gente normal. (Por supuesto hacemos todo diferente, estamos de vacaciones en verano hasta septiembre y terminamos el segundo semestre al final de junio.)
Así que repasando el temario y leyendo mucho acabo de encontrar información muy interesante sobre diferentes marcas. Como se sabe, aprender cosas sobre una marca puede involucrarte más con sus productos, y te hace sentir como parte de la mística de la marca, como que formas parte de su secreto.
Después de estudiar sobre jerarquía de marcas, he estado mirando algunos ejemplos y he encontrado cosas muy interesantes (bueno, llámame friki, pero a mí me lo parecen.)
- Pantene, Herbal Essences y h&s están fabricados por la misma compañía (P&G)
- Por cierto! H&s significa head and shoulders ¿Se supone que también debemos lavarnos los hombros?
- Timotei, Sunsilk y Tresemmé también están fabricados por la misma compañía (Unilever)
- El ketchup Orlando está hecho por Heinz (aunque no sabe ni la mited de bien, Heinz es inimitable y sí, soy una adicta al ketchup)
- Friskies (la comida de gatos y perros) está fabricado por Nestlé, la misma marca que nos hace el chocolate.
- L'Oréal fabrica para Biotherm, Armani y Helena Rubinstein entre otras marcas, y claro, también para sus productos de L'Oréal.
- Tommy Hilfiger no fabrica nada de nada. Solo su logo. Compra los pantalones a Pepe Jeans London y las camisas a Oxford. Si nunca ha sido mi marca favorita, ahora sí que me cae mal!
Bueno, hasta aquí algunas anécdotas sobre marcas respaldadoras y otras curiosidades! Espero que os evada del estudio un poquito!!
Well.. finally Friday, but for me just means more of the same... Study, study, and study.
Here in Spain, we just like doing things a little different, and although I don´t even know were is the sense on this, we have finals NOW, instead of having it as regular people, in December. (Of course we do things different, we have summer vacations until September, and end second semester on late June)
So going through this study stuff and reading a lot, I just founded some interesting info about so many different brands. As it is known, learning new stuff about a brand makes you more involved with different products, and makes you feel like you know something no one else knows, it makes the "magic" around a brand.
After studying some different things about brand architecture, I look up some examples, and I founded so many interesting stuff (well... you can call me nerd, but it was interesting for me... )
- Pantene, Herbal essences and h&s are made by the same company (P&G)
- H&s comes from head and shoulders (are we supposed to use it on our shoulders too??)

- Orlando Ketchup is made by Heinz (as Heinz ketchup, but it doesn´t even taste close to the Heinz one, yes! I´m a ketchup addicted)
