I had always been in love with Haute Couture. Specially french one. I never miss Paris edition recapitulations, pictures, abstracts and videos. But I didn´t know how amazing Asian Haute Couture can be. After attending last Wednesday to the Chinese designer Guo Pei and the Thai Vatit Itthi fashion shows, I have to say Asian Couture has captured me!! 

Siempre he estado enamorada de la Alta Costura. Especialmente de la francesa. Nunca me pierdo las recapitulaciones, fotos, artículos y videos sobre la semana de Parías, pero no tenía ni idea de lo impresionante que es la Alta Costura Asiática. Después de asistir este miércoles a los desfiles de la diseñadora china Guo Pei y el tailandés Vatit Itthi, tengo que decir que la Alta Costura Asiática me ha conquistado!!

After work I went straight to Marina Bay Sands, where Fide Fashion Week tooked place. Everything had a more elegant touch than last Saturday. You could feel it was Haute Couture time. The famous tea brand TWG was there treating the guest with tea and champagne drinks... You could breath the elegance!!

Después de trabajar fui directa a Marina Bay Sands, donde tiene lugar Fide Fashion Week. Todo tenía un toque más elegante que el sábado anterior. Se notaba que estabamos en la fase de Alta Costura. La famosa marca de té TWG recibía a los invitados con copas de champán con té... Se podía respirar la elegancia!!

Vatit Itthi´s runway was a great surprise. Although I heard about Gou Pei before, I didn´t know much about this Tahi designer, but with not doubt, his long and romantic dresses with princess attitude made of silk and delicate fabrics that will make you feel in a palace were spectacular. 

El desfile de Vatit Itthi fue una grata sorpresa. A diferencia de Guo Pei, no había oido su nombre antes, y no estaba muy bien informada acerca de su trabajo, pero sin dudasus vestidos largos con corte romántico y aires de princesa fueron espectaculares. 

Thanks to wonderful Stephanie, who not only got us invitations but also great first row sits, we could see the runway from a perfect spot, (although my pictures are not really good due to the lighting) Thanks a lot Stephanie!! You are the best!! =) The lighting, the music and the wonderful art pieces walking in front of us made the rest. 

Gracias a la maravillosa Stephanie, que nos solo nos ha conseguido pases para esta semana sino también sitios en primera fila, pudimos ver el desfile desde un sitio espectacular, (aunque por la iluminación mis fotos no son muy buenas). Gracias Stephanie!! Eres la mejor!! =)  La luz, la música y las maravillosas obras de arte que pasaban por delante de nosotras hicieron el resto. 

When Guo Pei turn came, the runway became a complete new place. It is incredible how although all the fashion shows are at the same runway, the staging can make them look one in a kind. Lighting, music, designs, models and in this case  interpretation make it possible. 

Cuando le tocó el turno a Guo Pei, la pasarela se convirtió en un lugar completamente diferente. Es increible cómo a pesar de que todos los desfiles son en la misma pasarela, la puesta en escena hace que cada uno sea único. Iluminación, sonido, modelos, diseños y en este caso interpretación, hacen que esto sea así. 

After a little waiting time, the show started. From it very first beginning I was haunted. Each model did a mysterious entrance thanks to a light that could only let us see the figure´s shapes, and the lighting became cleared when they started walking. The dresses were even more spectacular that I was expecting. Art is the only word to be fare when describing it. From the hair to the incredible high heels each design was an spectacular piece worth to admire for hours.

Tras una pequeña espera, el desfile comenzó. Desde el principio estuve hipnotizada. Cada modelo hizo una entrada misteriosa diferente gracias a que la ilumniación sólo dejaba distinguir formas, hasta que avanzaban y se podía ver el diseño por completo. Los vestidos era aún más impresionantes de lo que me esperaba. La única palabra que puedo utilizar para definir este desfile sin quedarme corta es Arte. Desde el pelo hasta los increíbles zapatos de plataforma cada diseño era una pieza espectacular que podría admirar durante horas.

And... this was me!! Coming straight from work, not looking my best.. As I told you in my last post, my small wardrobe here in Singapore is only meant for backpacking and travelling, I regret so much not bringing some of my clothing!!

Y... Esta soy yo!! Después de estar trabajando todo el día, la verdad es que no iba muy allá. Como ya te conté en mi último post el diminuto vestuario que tengo en Singapur estaba pensado para hacer viajes de mochileo y algunas escapadas. Me arrepiento mucho de no haberme traido algo más!! 

And, sine we were at Marina Bay Sands... What a better way to end the night than going to up to the Superb Club?? This club makes you feel in the top of the world!! (This is the only pic I got, sorry!)

Y, ya que estábamos en Marina Bay Sands, qué mejor forma de acabar la noche que subir a la discoteca de la azotea del hotel? Estar ahí arriba te hace sentir en la cima del mundo!! (Esta es la única foto que tengo, lo siento!)
